Lake Winnie is a historical park with historical rides and great place for families They have an old mill style ride, a modest wooden roller coaster built in 1966 and a very classy carousel that was once a staple at the Lakewood fairgrounds (Atlanta). The front of the park has a great collection of true children's rides, train, and picnic areas. There are plenty of more thrilling rides for teens as well.. Lake Winnie is a humble beautiful idyllic park as if straight out of a movie. The founders are buried and memorialized on the property which shows the respect thier history and loyalty to their business. Be sure to buy the homemade caramel corn for the drive home.

The quintessential charming boardwalk (albeit land-locked) amusement park. Needs a lot of love visually, but it's forgivable given they probably operate on a very tight budget. It's just one of those places you want to support because it takes you back to simpler pleasure times and you hope to see it thrive again.

This was a great time! Wish we could've stayed longer but we had to go. Summer was nearly over. Great memories though!

This place is interesting. It’s very unexpected if you don’t know what your getting into before you get there. But to this day my old youth group has not stopped talking about how awesome it was.

I thought for $25 pp it would be a good deal. But when 60% of the park is closed, ahhhh, not so much! Today was my husband's first time ever visiting and I was a Lyle disappointed for him. The grass was overgrown for most of the park and to see so many "favorites" closed, was a little disappointing. The staff was pleasant. Not overly friendly, but pleasant. Overall, my family and I made the best of it and still had a good time.
