museum is located near pilibangan districtnand is very well maintained with both harappan n preharappan artifactsnthe excavation site however is neglected but must visit to get an understanding of the civilisation

This is excavation site of Kalibangan, part of great Indus Valley civilization dated back 5000 year. They had knowledge of construction, drainage, weighing and measurements systems /equipment. Even scales, weight from a fraction of gram and precise balance are found here. Jewellery recovered here are of gold and precious stones. Bricks and pottery are abundantly spread at this site. You must surely visit the site to feel the connection with our great ancestors.
