My grandma passed, She was the one who organized everything and was practically the only adult. Hillside made it so easy for me and my father to get her a beautiful showing. They even contacted the place she was being buried at, It was about 4 hours from home. They made this experience so pleasant during such a horrible time. I highly recommend them. Thank you hillside!

Everyone here was super nice and pleasant. They really met the needs of our family. They went our of their way to accommodate us during the covid pandemic and our family truly appreciated their kindness. Laura helped me order my sisters necklace and was beyond helpful and super nice. The necklaces my mother and grandmother had turned out beautiful. Thank you so much!!

My mom had just recently passed and they handled everything with kindness and respect. Kevin Nordyke was extremely helpful in a very trying time. I find it hard to write a review for a funeral home rather than a good or bad food or service at a restaurant. So, all I can say if felt so though I was dealing with friends who knew what we were going through and I really appreciated that.

I highly recommend Hillside. They care so much about the families that they serve. They made a very, very difficult time much easier. You can tell that this is not just a business to them. Laura was available to answer every question I had, no matter how small. Konnie was also a big help to my family and to what our needs were. I can't say enough good things about them.

Preplanning for a funeral was the hardest thing I had to do for the impending passing of my husband. I walked into Hillside and was greeted by Laura. She made me feel at ease with the planning. We talked about my husband’s wishes. Laura listened to the stories I told of my husband – the good that he brought to people he knew and people he did not know. In that same meeting we were able to start the process of planning for the day. I knew that when that day did come, I would not be able to relay his wishes, let alone my own. With the help of Laura, we began the process.nOnce the day came, we called Hillside when we were ready and said our goodbyes in our home. Kevin and Michael came to our house and with dignity and respect transported my husband to Hillside. Later that day, I met with Kevin to finalize the wake and funeral. Due to the virus, we were limited to the number of visitors we were able to have in the building for the wake. However, Kevin made it work for us. We were able to hold a service outside the building in the carport. Anything that we needed during my husband’s services, Kevin was always nearby to assist us. Hillside is a family business and each one of them welcomed our family into their home to honor my husband and for that, I thank them so very much.
