Horrifying experience. Once the poor quality services are paid for at a premium, you’re on your own. Multiple errors on the death certificate. No one would fix them. We were told to go to the Health Department but not before being verbally attacked. “We’re not going to help you! Call the health department!” When a family suffers a great loss, care and compassion are necessities not to mention free.nnLike other reviewers, I think the reviews by employees or friends of the employees should not be posted. There are at least 5 of them with 5 star reviews. They’re not impartial. They’re clear misrepresentations anyone can see. In fact, it speaks volumes about a business when they allow and promote these reviews. You deserve better. You and your loved ones deserve respectful guidance, strong support, professional knowledge and tenderness. None of it is here.

When our mom died Mr Jessen and his staff were so good to the family. He treated us like FAMILY❤ufe0f Our mom was beautiful.nA wonderful funeral and the best owner and staff

Funeral went well. Said they would follow up with the death date on my Dad's headstone. Didn't happen. Called John to see if he was going to take care of it. Said he needed to check his records and would call me back. Didn't happen. I took care of it myself; no big problem, but they don't care about it. Not good business in my opinion

I’m torn in writing this review. When my mother-in-law passed in 2006, they were awesome in helping my devastated father-in-law. They guided him in the process, showed him compassion, and the service was beautiful.nHowever, this has not been the case most recently when my father passed away. We met with Capri Bowles (who has written a review for them and she WORKS there) initially. No guidance, even when we stated that we had never had to do this before. Just took his information, handed us the price guide, asked us wood or metal container. Never asked us about financials, what we wanted, nor did she show us the packages they offered. We didn’t know that they had a “showroom” of the various containers until we were walking out and we saw the room’s door as it was open. Just rush, rush, rush.nThere were so many issues in dealing with them, too numerous to account. My mother decided to go another route due to these issues. When she informed John of this when she picked up dad’s remains, he treated her horribly. Who berates a widow when she’s picking up her spouse of 50 years remains? This is unacceptable, and I can no longer recommend this business. Unfortunately I cannot give them a zero star.

Pick a different funeral home.nThe woman that took care of my father's cremation services never gave her condolences or even took into account what our family must be going through. She made a mistake on his death certificate and then when my mother brought it to her attention told her it was her fault and she would have to go purchase another copy from the health department after she had already paid for it through your funeral home. In a business where you are dealing with grieving family members you would assume their customer service would be incredible.nThat was not the case.
