If you compare the price of goods in the mahakal market with mall market, then I think, mahakal market is far better than the mall market.

A small lane but good in collection for shopping .nThis contains woolen shawl,sweaters,cap ,gloves , showpiece etc . Burgaining is must depending on the item you are buying .nThis market is located at the right lane of mall road .The view at right is spectacular.If you are visiting this place at night you can view all houses are light up and looks like stars.nWoolens are mostly local made and quality is ok.check the products in multiple stores before you make decisions to buy . Showpieces are good and definitely cheap than outside .

Lovely and best place for shopping..very reasonable price..you can buynlot of cloths for you and your family... Market Complex is located at a walkable distance from the Chowrasta – Mall Road. These are the two most popular shopping complexes located along the Laden La road on the Chowk Bazaar. The Dragon Market and Mahakal Market are located at the same place just opposite to each other. It is a one-stop-market for buying bead work objects, batik print goods, sculptures, things brought from African destinations like Masai Mara etc. While, the Mahakal Market is good for buying woollen items, the Dragon Market on the other hand is a hub of fashion accessories imported from Bangkok. All kinds of girly stuff such as sandals, frocks, t-shirts, jewellery are sold here.nAll good quality cloths available from Bangkok,Bangaladesh and Nepal..when you are in Darjeeling must visit Mahakal market.nGood collection for winter cloths and kids clothing.
