Puducherry (Pondicherry)

Puducherry railway station is the central place. You can get trains to the different parts of India. Station is well maintained & spacious. Parking facility is there. Eatery shops are there.

Cleanly maintained railway station. Located in main city. Not having much trains to other parts of the country. In recent years, some new trains have been introduced from here. Earlier, it was very less. The main problem is, it has to reach Villupuram and then to other parts of the country. The running hours are very slow for the trains here.

Pondicherry railway station situated near rock beach...you can also enjoy beach environment from station...one of the most neat and clean station I have ever seen...

The station is kept really clean and neat. They have a cloak room which is very useful and not expensive at all. Good to keep the luggage and roam the city on bike. The location of the station is very close to the beach and good accessibility.

Nice, clean and tidy kept railway station. There is a auto station just outside the station but the fare for auto are very expensive. There is a lot of space to sit. There is a cloak room as well as locker facilities. They charge about 20rs for 24 hours for cloak room and 30rs for locker.
