This heavenly cactus nursery sits on the lap of the gigantic Himalayas, in the hill station of Kalimpong. I got the privilege of visiting this nursery & I was completely enthralled. To begin with, it's situated very close to the centre of the town and can be easily reached either by walking or by becoming a part of a sightseeing group, via a cab. The entry fee is ₹20 only. Immediately after entering the nursery, you will notice small tent like rooms, constructed for the cactus plants. Each of these rooms are well-equipped with all the requisite habitat for the different varieties of cactus. The huge sizes of some of the plants will simply blow your mind away. At the very far end of the nursery, you will come across a view point, from where you can get a panoramic view of the mountain ranges. There is also a resort situated inside this nursery. English is well understood and spoken inside the Pine View Nursery. While strolling inside the small cactus rooms, be careful not to get too close to the plants, because they have got some really nasty thorns, which can result in injury. Photography is permitted. There will be no other opinion regarding the array of collection which they have , for it is vast and interesting ... BUT , BE AWARE OF THE PRICES THEY ASK FOR . THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE TWO LADIES WHO ATTENDED US WERE VERY OBNOXIOUS AND RUDE . This kind of behaviour to tourist is definitely not praise worthy. There are FAR BETTER nurseries around Kalimpong which are open for healthy bargain as well as will cater to your fine taste for such plants.

A nice place for nature lovers and for those who like plants especially cactus and related plants.nnThis is a private owned nursery and the entry is Rs.20 per person.nnThe plants are well maintained and a treat tobthe eyes. There is a temple and a lovely bungalow inside the nursery.nnThis place is closed o Sundays and .any places are still closed post relaxation of lockdown as well. Please check with tour operator before you plan to visit places of tourist interest.nnParking is on the road.nnA nice place to spend some time with nature a d the mou gain views from here too.nnKeep clean and stay green and keep Kalimpong clean.

Situated in Kalimpong,West Bengal this nursery is famous for its outstanding collection of different species of cactus.You will find and can buy different cactuses from their's huge collection. Adjacent to this you can also see Tagore's home.

The cactus collection of this place is worth mentioning. This place is really amazing with some small tent like green houses in which different varieties of cactus are grown. You will see different kinds of cactuses with peculiar features and beautiful flowers. The nursery is well maintained. This place is really worth a visit.
