Calm and quiet place with beautiful Surya temple

This is one of the best place in India for GSB community for peace and tranquility. For every GSB it is a must place to visit in life time. The temple known as Vyas Mandir is dedicated to Lord Vedha Vyas. Ganga River is flowing at the back of the temple complex where one can have Ganga snan. Earlier the flow of Ganga was very powerful where one require a heavy chain to take a dip. Unfortunately this time the flow of water is very less so much as not even knee-deep. Understand the flow has been restricted. Hope to see better water flow next time. The math allows stay for GSBs on prior request over phone or in writing. A maximum of three days stay is permitted in the cottages. There are about 100 cottages of three bedrooms each. Few AC rooms are also available. Breakfast, Lunch, evening tea, snacks and dinner are free for lodgers on request. Rooms are provided with hot water facilities. The food is served after morning, afternoon and evening poojas. Car parking is available. Rooms are not wheelchair accessible. The staff are highly accommodative. Few of the community members are staying there for life with appropriate permission and payment.

This is managed by Kashi Math Sansthan - Gouda Saraswath Brahmins. The previous Swamijis samadhi is there here. Good guest accommodation and satsang Bhavan available for Bhagavath Katha and such other religious functions. Peaceful Ganga Gath as well...
