It was an amazing trip to Taj Rishikesh. One of the best properties in India for sure. The location around 25 kms from Rishikesh, but is very quite and serene. Perfect place to unwind. The staff was extremely courteous and treated us with utmost attention. I would specifically like to appreciate Mr. Sumit for his efforts towards making my birthday a memorable one and Mr. Jayaprakash for entertaining our unending food requests. Food quality was amazing and i would suggest to go for the all meals included package.nThere weren't a lot of people at the resort when we travelled and we felt pretty safe (with regards to COVID 19). All safety measures were being followed strictly. It was a pleasant break from being stuck in our homes for 6 months.nThe network coverage was poor in the area and however resort wi-fi made sure we didn't feel disconnected.nI would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend getaway from WFH and corona stress!!

Great location, great property and -- most importantly -- amazing staff (front desk, restaurant, room service, housekeeping and even the plumber!).nnWe stayed in one of the Villas, which are great for peace, quiet, privacy and partial view of the river Ganga. If expansive views of the winding river are a priority, then getting an appropriate room or suite in the main building is your best bet.nnIt was a shame that the speciality restaurants and bar were closed due to COVID-19, but some of the food we tried in the all day diner was just as good as any other Taj speciality restaurant across India. The pahadi thali is a true feast and the undisputed star of our stay was the fish in pahadi spices.

Serene Luxury in the Divine city of TemplesnProperty is located right on the banks of Holy Ganges. The river engulfs the premise in a U-shaped turn around the hill the resort is located on and thus almost every room has a River view.nOne can walk down to the river bank and spend some time with the perennial waters of the Holy River. Water levels may vary depending upon the season and entering the water is strictly prohibited due to strong under water current.nHotel is around 32 Kms from the main City of Rishikesh.nStanding true to its legacy of luxury and location this property of Taj too does the justice to the brand.nMain restaurant has seating area both inside and outside with splendid view of the hills around and The Ganges flowing in the valley.nDeluxe Rooms in the main building have a wider and panoramic view of the River whereas the Luxury cottages located slightly downhill have a closer view of the River. Cottages are surrounded by lush green gardens and offer enough space to stroll around and admire the nature.nRooms are spacious and have exclusive outside seating areas.nYoga and meditation sessions are held daily in the Hotel. Also daily Aarti is carried on on the river bank.nTravelling to the main city can only be done using your own vehicle or you can hire a hotel cab.nStaff is courteous.

Amazing stay at the hotel. The management and staff were very cordial and helpful. We were given services out of the box and not charged extra for them. We went as a group of 9 people and took 4 rooms. Would highly recommend
