Founded by Vijay and Sandhya, here's an orphanage for the abandoned girl child. Guess they've completed 25 years of great service. Set in the midst of hills, as scenic as Bahubali, the drive by road from Bangalore was an exhilarating experience. The nature is breathtaking. Aarti Home is the name of the orphanage. What us most impressive is the joy and commitment writ large on the faces of the girls who have grown here. All of them have graduated and settled into jobs and have their own families. What's impressive is that a few girls from the home have now taken on the mantle of supporting the home professionally so have become counsellors and project officers. A visit to the place will make your spirits rise and experience gratitude to life. And you can pick a item or two from a range of high quality products they make or order your range of corporate gifts. Kudos to Sandhya who began this journey picking up one abandoned girl child and giving her a home. May her tribe increase.

We spent close to a month volunteering at Aarti Home and Aarti School in Kadapa. They provide girls from infant through College a place to live and be educated. They take in some boys. Currently, they have 113 Girls and 8 boys that actually live at a separate site from the girls. They provide the girls and boys everything for Free. They provide all food and clothing and the opportunity to stay connected with their families if possible eventhough their parents gave them up. There are many reasons and they are complicated. But for all these girls this is their only opportunity to Live and become self supporting. Look them up on Google and donate if you can. They provide family counseling and help before taking a child on
