Koilsagar lake gives you a pleasant view of check dam, reservoir and the river. It looks mesmerizing that the green hills spread around it. There is a camping sight nearby the reservoir and we can chill out there an entire day with campfire and all the stuff.

Koilsagar Dam is located at Koilsagar Village of Deverakadra Mandal in Mahabubnagar District.Koilsagar Dam is one of the famous tourist attractions of Mahabubnagar District. Beside Koilsagar there is Veerabadhra Temple called KoilKonda. Every year there is a celebration (Jathara) held by nearby villagers.nThis medium reservoir with live water storage capacity of 60 million cubic meters, was constructed on the peddavagu tributary of Krishna river.nnKoilsagar lake gives you a pleasant view of check dam, reservoir and the river. A great place to spend a weekend with family and friends.... But need to go in the evening time before sunset so that we can make all the arrangements there before it gets dark.... Unfortunately we reached there at 9 PM and felt some difficulty in gathering the sticks for camp fireud83dudd25... And finally we made it.... Had a party there.... And enjoyed that night.... And it's better to take all the stuff you want before you reach the place... Because it gets difficulty to get the stuff once you reach there....nAt morning after we woke up, done some photoshoot at the lake view. Visited the Dam. And finally winded up.nnOverall the trip was awesome.

Nice place for camping and star gazing. Sky in the night is very clear that one can see stars and galaxies clearly. Night one can here the water waves sound clearly in the peaceful environment. It's extremely dark here so better carry torch pr other light sources. One of the finest place for weekend getaways near by Hyderabad. Rock hill beside the lake is amazing. One must take care while climbing as there are no steps.

Awesome experience must visit place . No polution no disturbance . Very peaceful place. My sincere request to please clear your trash when u leave the place. Save environment save Earth. Nice place to hangout with friends and loved once . It's a camping ground and u can't find a restroom near by so keep it in mind and enjoy the awesome experience of koil sagar.
