Do not look for sophistication here as the market is basic and has remained unchanged for decades. The good part about this is that the focus is only on the products. The produce is directly brought from the fields and it is as fresh as you can get anywhere in the world which is a hallmark of semi-rural towns like Chapar. You will not be disappointed with quality maybe presentation is not the forte here. Things are cheap, reasonable and the atmosphere uncomplicated and predictable. A stroll through the lanes offers a rustic experience and for a urbanite like me definitely memorable.

Chapar is a small town. It's area about 10 sqkm. It is located on the bank of Champaboti river. The town is about 200km far away from guwahati. The NH31 is running away through chapar. The communication is very good from any where of India. The chapar tea garden is located at west part. Ratnapith college is awarded with 3rd position for beautiful architect and natural beauties.
