A very well maintained station. Cleanliness is good. Transportation is available 24/7. All the amenities are available at the station. Stop for all major trains in the zone.

This is the prime railway station of the whole state. Trains connecting Odisha to various parts and corners of the country leaves and crosses from here. The busiest railway station in Odisha State with highest footfall and most trains passing by this place feels lively all day long. It has a bus stand just outside. Also, parking for Cabs, Private Vehicles available. ATMs are available in large numbers. Food courts and joints are readily available both inside and in vicinity of the station. Hotels, Lodges are in plenty just beside. Public Restroom/Sulabh Sauchalay available both inside and outside. Spread across 6 platforms, it receives a huge crowd per day and the numbers just booms during festivals. One prime attraction for a nature lover like me is the Chirping of Birds at the waiting area outside station, if you reach prior to 6 AM.

It's a good place but cleanliness is not that much as it is one of the most crowded places of Bhuvneshwar.you can find a whole range of different stalls and everything is available at cheap rates and food are really cheap.but are of good quality.and can find branded stalls.
