This is a small state park but, it is very clean and comfortable. There are not many amenities. It is a very nice place to relax and rest. The RV sites are paved with asphalt and have a grill at each one. The staff is friendly and helpful. You get some traffic noise from nearby I-10 but you soon get used to it. There is abundant wildlife in the park. I saw rabbits, alligators, turtle, snakes, fish and many types of birds.

I'm a 4 year full timer. For a long rig, 45', this is the best state park in the country.nDon't tell anybody about it :)

Anna the manager? Has went above and beyond to get us here. The road to the causeway was closed due to the weather and flooding. She came and met us in town and had us follow her through the closed road and into park.nThe park is nice and we'll kept. Sites are fairly large and staggered to separate.nThere is no WI-Fi!!!!!!!! Some of the review sites say there is.nShort drive to Mobile, Daphne, Spanish Fort.

We Love Meaher State Park! I can't say enough good things about this campground! It is very very clean, staff is always helpful! Campsites are level and paved with your own picnic table and charcoal grill. Beautiful views of the bay. Plenty of wildlife to observe on the numerous walking trails! It is an excellent camping experience!

Great state park would have gave it 5 star's but the lady at the gate was very unfriendly
