Built by locals of Agas locality decades ago. This temple is in such serene location. Totally surrounded by greenery and wide plateaus. Try hiking during monsoons.

Bhagawati temple is situated On a peak of montains of Loliem village the temple is belived to be around 200 yrs.The temple has main idol of Bhagawati as mahishasurmardini has Eight hands and is very divine and calm form of Durga.The main idol is surround by a beautiful idol of Ganesh on right and Wagh or tiger the vehicle of Godess.Below the temple is tali or pond from which water is fetched to bath the deity.The surrounding is cool and calm one can hear sound of birds and other forest animals.There are many trees surrounding the temple the temple has a small cave and wast fields which unremain barren.To Reach the temple one has to go through very narrow rough roads and bushes.And has to first cross railwayline at Agas or Can even reachable from Tamnem.The main utsav is celebrated only on Paush Pournima and on Kojagiri pournima by locals.nnBhagavatinThe temple of Bhagavati is situated on Maxem plateau in the east. Thenashtabhuja (eight-armed) Bhagavati is thenmahishasur-mardini who had cut the head of the buffalondemon and held it in her left hand while her right hand held its tail tightly. All other six hands hold different weapons. The idol is supported with a nimbus and kirtimukha.nThe appearence of the goddess is fierce. The iconographic style seems to be of the 10th to 11th century. Outside the garbhagriha at the right side, there is a Ganesha idol which is a common feature of all the old temples of the village. A broken roof-slab with a beautifully carved lotus is seen lying in the premises of the temple which has been renovated.
