Perfect 32 Dental Clinic

I came to India as a tourist, but also to get dental work done. This included a root canal of an abscessed tooth, an implant with bone grafts, a temporary crown, a crown and several amalgam fillings replaced with non-metallic ones. I was not disappointed. Dr. Mehra was extremely professional and performed all the work with meticulous care. In fact, I found her more attentive and careful than some dentists I've had in the West. I recommend her services very highly.

I had developed toothache in a lower molar almost the day I landed in India. I was working in Ladakh for 6 weeks then travelling for sometime in Himachel Pradesh. I firstly visited an excellent dentist in Leh where outside temperatureswere minus 10 to minus 20 at the time of year (December). The Leh dentist thought my tooth could be saved but didn't think he was the right person...gave me antibiotics and told me to get a second opinion later.nnThe pain receded with the antibiotics but not before a dreadful bout of pain that reminded me that teeth,ears, and the side of your face and brain are all connected.nnThree weeks later in Dharmsala....the pain returned. What to do? I trawled the internet for dentists in McLeod Ganj and was relieved to see great reviews for Dr Mehra and her clinic...Perfect 32 Jogiwara Road. I visited the clinic...luckily supported by my wonderful partner Lanka.nnI told Dr Mehra my story. Dr Mehra listened intently and patiently, examined my tooth and took X Rays. Then followed a highly expert diagnosis and prognosis. On balance we decided the tooth must come out. An appointment was booked for two days later to allow for infections to decline somewhat.nnDr Mehra carefully and gently anesthetized my mouth and then got to work extracting. It did not last long. I did not feel much at all. Dr Mehra then carefully went through the pain relief treatment with me and prescribed medication. I was touched when she followed up with a message asking how I was, two days later.nnDr Mehra is very ably supported by an excellent, efficient, and friendly dental officer.nnThe clinic is spotlessly clean and sterile, and the whole ambience gives the patient confidence.nnI have experienced dentists across the world including UK, NZ, Australia, and Solomon Islands, and can say, without reservation, that Dr Mehra is one of the best dentists I have come across.nnA tooth extraction is never pleasant. Mental and physical fear surrounds this operation. Westerners can have stereotype views of non westen dentists which increase their fears.nnDon't worry if you are in Mcleod Ganj!
