The safari was for 1 hour. I only saw some peacocks,nOne Hog, One little elephant at a very very close distance, two or three big eleohants and two birds and yes a lot of deers everywhere.nThe natural beauty was also very good. Bit the prices are too high.nYou most probably will see nothing during day time. Morning and evening time are best . I went around 3 pm though. Not totally satisfied. And make sure to get a seat at the front in bus.

Uncertainty in seeing animal except deer , peacock , cow and pig.nWent for bus safari by paying 350 @7 am morning.nDriver tried his best in finding animal but unsuccessful.nLocation is good and can feel the thrill in Forest.

Covering 880 sq km, it was once the Mysuru maharajas’ private wildlife reserve, and is now a protected zone for more than 100 species of mammal, including tigers, elephants, leopards, gaurs (Indian bison), chitals (spotted deer), sambars, sloth bears, dholes, mongooses and langurs. It’s also home to an impressive 350 bird species. It's only 72km south of Mysuru on the Ooty road.

Waste of time and money. Charges around 350 per head for bus safari must consider charging less price to encourage more people visit. And can hardly sight any animals. Better to visit bannerghatta park at least you are guaranteed to spot a tiger or lion

I was able to find only Deer, Peacock,Pig and Luckily 2 Elephants !!!!nnThe Safari is quite long but it's not worth the money.nThey charged 350 per headnThe Gypsy is quite costlyn.nIf you are interested in roaming the forest you can visit this place
