Station is next to historical place and shri Ranganath Swamy temple Shrirangapattana.nLocated in a nice place.

Very good and neatly maintained Railway Station , in the middle of nature, the station is next to carvery spirit, so beautiful place, connectivity of the rails also good.. Overall very good place

It's very old temple can visit this place at any season, and you can enjoy here Horse riding...

The station is in a very unique place, same as Ranganatha Temple. The Cauvery river splits in two and makes a garland about this “island” and curves around. The wall paintings here on ticket counter/entrance building is very classic with modern contrast colors. The platforms are very lengthy and it might be a bit hard to reach the coaches on time. Please be early if you’re boarding from here.
