Thangassery Beach

This is another popular beach and one of the top places to visit in Kollam. Situated at a distance of 5 km from the city it is a major beach of Thangassery. The Portuguese back in the 1500s created a trading center here and Thangassery became an important center of the pepper trade. Today, one can see a pretty seaside village here and this beach is an amazing place to enjoy a sunset with your folks on your trip to South India.

Good place for hangout. Light house is the main attraction at this place. Very calm place and it is beautiful.

Go find a peaceful spot amidst the seashore, park, fort or harbour and relieve all ur stress enjoying the canvas of nature (which keepz changing every now n then), the birds that fly around, the cool breeze from the oceanside, the kidz who play around without any worriez, the elderly who gather in the eveningz to chit-chat n play poker/rummy...
