Rock art, that is paintings and carvings on natural rock formations, is one of the earliest forms of creative expression and a universal phenomenon among prehistoric societies. Rock art is the primary source to study the culture, rituals, traditions, and lives of prehistoric societies. In a multidisciplinary approach, scientists attempt to date the paintings while artists seek the meaning behind them.

This place is historically important because it contains evidence of paleolithic age (10,000 BCE). It has entry point where you have to generate ticket online of rs 20. We have to carry identity card for entry.

Good place to visit if you love ancient art and sculptures there's plenty get off rock painting and drawings, with ample amount of rock architecture including some sort of balancing rock
