Nagaland State Museum

Fascinating anthropological collection of costume, jewellery and daily life. Interesting examples of tribal sports played at festivals. There are two empty floors- not sure if these still have to be curated.

Best place to visit when you are in Kohima. Museum is beautifully placed as Nagaland culture is describe in wooden models and cultural stuffs as well as the way all the stuff is design with minor detailing is commendable. Do prioritize your visit to this museum. Timing 10am - 4pm.

Well kept museum with a rich collection of artifacts describing the local Naga tribes. A must visit place for all tourists.

The artifacts aren't well maintained... The state need to do better job at preserving and value the culture more. Need to encourage the state workers to collect more ruins
