Ao Baptist Church

One of the most beautiful church in Nagaland. An architectural wonder that took 10 years to raise funds and build simultaneously. The structural design of columns, beams and other elements that hold the roof of the church were a huge challenge even for the elite engineers and building committee. I still remember my father (being a member of the building committee himself) having many sleepless nights and anxiety during the entire course of the project. The seating position inside the church is similar to a cinema hall so you get a good viewing angle of the pulpit from almost anywhere. The Church is also equipped with state of the art audio hardware and there are no significant sound echoing problems unlike other big churches and halls. Oh! And you should see the giant fans :3
