We dropped in yesterday for a quick lunch and came back today to do it again—it was that good! The food is fantastic, the beer list well crafted and the service awesome. The meat and two (or three) is a winner! Yesterday had the buttermilk-brined chicken and today was the best “fried” catfish I’ve ever had. I said “fried” because while that’s what the menu called it, it was WAY better than that. Yes, it was dusted and crunchy, but it was so light and not greasy “fried” feels like an cheap insult. The fish was the star and the coating the wingman. It was fantastic! Veggies were awesome both days. Highly recommend the collards and the baked potato potato salad. Great twist on a classic. Highly recommend you visit The Place!
