This was once princely state.It was ruled by king's.nAll District offices are located in New District Administration Complex which is a big building , newlynbuilt on Kartarpur road Kadupur. There is also New Court Complex where all District Courts are herd .But there is no other market near these complex .nMain Bazaars and market of Kapurthala-: Sadar bazar.nSatnarayana bazaar.nKasaban Bazaar.nIndustries Rail Coach Factory. Hamira Distillery.nInstitutions -: NJSA Gov.College.nSainik School.nGSSS(Girls)Ghanta Ghar.nGSSS(boys)nMDSD School.nAkal public school,Bibri.nKaniyan College.nMain Sub-Districts :nKapurthala.nBholath.nSultanpur Lodhi.nPhagwara..nMain visited places-nScience City.nRCF.nSainik School.nOld court Complex.nKanjali Wetland.nect.nParliament ConstituencynSri Khadoor Sahib Ji.

A district of punjab basically located 16 km away from Jalandhar . Kapurthala is also known as the land of palaces as it is popular for its rich culture . There are many temples located in kapurthala which attracts the visitors as on the other side there are two big projects in the city which has increased the employment in the locality the first one is RCF rail coach factory and the other is ITC LTD company which is a MNC which is also a point of attraction in the city. clean and green environment of the city pins attraction for people to come and watch the city once . Pushpa Gujral science city is also located in kapurthala which is a good educational place to visit.
