This Army run cafe is at check post before Gurudongmar lake. They serve lip smacking snacks such as momos, Pakodas and Jalebis. They also serve coffee and Tea. But the winner is the heater they provide. Imagine yourself at 15000 ft, you are shivering with bone chilling cold and then you get into this cosy hot cafe... It feels like heaven.nThe music played was also awesome.nnIn all, an enjoyable place and must visit if you are on the way to visit Gurudongmar lake.

Run by Indian Army, highest cafeteria at 15000 ft, where you get hot drinking water, hot tea, coffee, food, on way to Gurudongmar Lake, at North Sikkim, also hot blower to warm up.nNothing, but the best, from Indian Army.

Cafe' 15000 is run by our favorite Indian Army soldiers. Apart from coffee and momos, there are many other food items available here. Each item has a fixed price. A problem occurs in every traveler due to the amount of oxygen in this area is less than normal, but if you sit inside the cafe and relax for a while you can get temporary relief from this problem. Also, oxygen cylinders are used at the nearby army health camp to help critically ill travelers.
