The Mirik Lake near Darjeeling is a beautiful spot where one can enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. It is hardly 50 km away from Darjeeling and the road trip to Mirik is sheer paradise. A good part of the drive is along orange orchards, tea estates, and gentle hill slopes.nnThere are facilities for boating as well as horse riding. It is originally known as the Sumendu Lake. The two banks of the lake are joined by an arching footbridge called Inderani Pull.nnLocated at the phenomenal place, it had this relaxing, stress vibe which I never going to forget. I was there with my family and everyone was fascinated. This place is like a break from the artificial and complex environment of the busy world.nnThe ticket was at a reasonable price and good for going with the family or friends, one flaw I noticed was that the lake was not very clean but that was probably the visitor's fault.nnI will advice you to visit this place during spring to get that natural relaxed feels from this place. Overall it was a pretty good.nnI would highly recommend this place if you want to get rid of stress and cure depression, you would definitely like the experience.nnK bye
