Dutch cemetery . It has 400 yrs of historynnThe fort was built on the shores of pulicat lake. which provides access to the Bay of Bengal and the coramental cost, an important area for trade and a scene of rivalry between the colonial powers of the Dutch, the Portuguese, and the Bristtish.nnLocal tradition holds that a Dutch ship, stranded in 1606, found aid among a group of expatriate Muslims, and thus began a trade partnership.

Small place, should be maintained more seriously as it is a point of great significance considering its history. There lies king and Queen buried during the 1600s and now goats sit and poop over it! It's near the bus stand itself and its key is with the small shop owner near it. He would open it and tell u about its history in tamil. Its totally worth the visit If you are in pulicat

Looks majestic even in dim light. A must visit spot in chennai.nLocated very near to the main pulicat town. Get the key from nearby shops to see this. But we visited late After 6 only. So missed going inside

If you like to go inside, ask the guy in the Tailor shop beside the Cemetery.
