With just two platforms and two lines, this station witnesses a lot of rail traffic situated, as it is, close to both Secunderabad and Hyderabad Deccan stations. Many trains halt here, and local trains of the MMTS are continuously passing through.nThe station as of now is ill-equipped to handle so much of traffic.nAlso since it is located just below the Begumpet flyover, cab and autorickshaw drivers have a field day in making passengers move from one side to the other for booking.nAfter the introduction of the Metro & the Metro station close by, a lot of the menace of the cabs and rickshaws have been reducednThe station is quite clean, bit much more could be done in this direction. The surroundings are filthy, and the refreshment stalls rarely have anything hot except tea & coffee.
