The Grub

Their Double Whammy and Uncle Sam burgers were very dry with no flavour. The patties were so dry we had to abandon trying to eat it half way. We even tried using the mayonnaise they provided to ease the food in, alas, that didn't work either! We complained to management cos for 340rs the burgers were expensive wrt Shillong standards and they turned out a huge disappointment. Never ever try the burgers at the Grub.

Only went for the magnificent cheese cakes. After lockdown, I presume the baker changed. It's not bad by any means. Just not the ones that they used to serve. B+ or a Solid B. Coffee is good. Other meals/snacks, no matter how good, (although most of them are good, but nothing to write home about) come in portions that can only feed a toddler. Atleast it's not Dylan's.

Best cafe in terms of food especially the burgers and well maintain protocols in terms of food safety and customer security during C 19 times. All the best

Have always wanted to visit this popular food hub of shillong was disappointed at first as there was limited seating but when I finally got a table and when through their new mode of operations due to covid 19 was really impressed as they had taken care of almost every aspect. You get a guideline on your table abt how the food is made and how contact less they want to keep as much as possible for the safety of the customers as well as the staff. Ordered their famous burgers and man do they satisfy and a good cuppa coffee too. Its disappointing when your'e not serve on a plate but the idea of packed food also make sense during these times. All in all a great experience. Keep it up

The place was good BUT the food quantity was terrible, fork was a joke, Mexican beef fried rice taste doesn’t taste like how it should be, took so much time in serving. Hope it can be improved soon.
