Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Tadvai, about 80 km from Warangal, it can be reached via NH-163, and is located 17.5 km before Eturnagaram. It is famous for its rich biodiversity. Its revival was completed in the year 2009 and it's one of the oldest sanctuary located in the state of Telangana which was declared in the year 1952. It is also known as Company Bagh, no one will be able to guide you if you ask about wildlife, because the local language is mostly spoken, due to this visitors used to face the challenges.nnThe Godavari river is the life saver, life preserver and lifeline of this sanctuary which flows through its middle. The perennial water source which divides this sanctuary into two parts makes this wildlife attractive. Known as Dayyam Vagu. It is an excellent and splendid sanctuary. It is famous for its various flora and fauna. It's a tropical dry perishing region and favourable for the rain forests. Teak and other connected species like Madhuca, Terminalia, Bamboos etc are plentiful of good quality as it has less plain area and having many hills. It has many wild animals like tiger, panther, sloth Bears,  gaur, sambar, chital, nilgai, black buck, Indian giant flying squirrel, birds, reptiles like Crocodile, Python, cobra etc. It's a paradise for environmentalists and nature lovers. At various locations watch towers are erected for visitors and it is truly amazing to see the forests and wild animals from the Watch Towers in Medaram and Parsal.nnThe tourist information center is very modern. Tourist hostels and resthouses with all facilities are available here. The beautiful way of giving important information to tourists has been adopted by tableaux related to wildlife and tribals. About the fading specie Gaur largest living bovine, lot of information and conservation steps are being taken. It also houses a consortium where visitors can enjoy documentaries on wildlife. As the area is of pre-historic and archaeological importance and also of archaeological importance, signs are available in the form of the old abandoned Raksasugaha and the old fort Durgamagutta. This wildlife area has a rich cultural heritage, as for 800 years, tribals celebrate a biennial festival in the month of February in Medam, worshiping Shamakka and Saralamma Jatara who lost their lives for independence against the Kakatiya dynasty.nnIt's full of thrills and a perfect place to spend memorable moments. The boundaries of this wildlife sanctuary are close to Chhattisgarh &  Maharashtra. Apart from being a tribal majority area, it's affected by Naxalites. Enough security forces are engaged in this area. A major attraction among the environmentalists, nature and culture lovers, also major attraction among history buffs wanderers soulseekers heritage art and architecture lovers.
