Laknavaram Lake is approximately 75 km from Warangal. The green hills of Govindaraopet are a place which is surrounded by the Laknavaram Lake and forms a massive bowl like structure which admits a wide, exquisite and pristine view. The lake was the breakthrough of ancient Kakatiya rulers.

We went to laknavaram and booked cottages in Tstdc site in September month. It's a beautiful place and the cottages are very good and the view from the cottages and island is so beautiful. But the facilities at cottage is not good as there is no soap ,paste and towels provided at the cottage. Every minute thing we have to carry. Food is just okay. Except that every thing is good. If you are interested to go for a weekend one night stay from Hyderabad then it's a perfect one
