Being a student of JNV I'll say it used to be the second home for every student studying here, this place is not less then heaven as Mawsynram receives one of the highest rainfalls in India. It is reportedly the wettest place on Earth, with an average annual rainfall of 11,872 millimetres . Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are a system of alternate schools for gifted students in India. JNVs are fully residential and co-educational schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), with classes from VI to XII standard.
