Place of the resort is very nice. I like this resort because It's far from the proper Shillong town. Peaceful with decent construction and environment. I want to stay there again on my next visit.

The resort is located at main road. Plenty of parking place. Nice rooms, villas, tents n dormitory too. The hotek is having big convention hall. The restaurant having limited menus to serve but food is delicious. Hotel staff is well behave, friendly and helpfull. They provide toiletries, mineral water daily. The rooms are clean. Just behind the hotel there is a small waterfall which makes it unique. I enjoyed ❤ my two days of recent stay here. Thank 🙏💕 you Ri Kanaan team.

If you love the nature and don't want to go the Jungle or if you love the rain then this is the place for you. Ri Kanan is one of the property which is situated in Barapani Shillong bipass in Umroi area. The shillong airport is around 5 km , Shillong town is around 17 km and Umiam lake is 3.5 km from this place. The rooms are well maintained with hill view and waterfall view options. The one side of the property is covered by hills and the water fall passes through the property. One can book rooms or can enjoy the camping facility also. As it is covered by small forests and woods hence this is one good option for Botany students to collect their samples from the nature.

I stayed in the water fall villa. Nice place, good rooms but food menu is costly. People out there are helpful and you do have a spa and Kerala Ayurvedic center if you have more leisure time. Overall recommended.
