To simply put, its a cattle hospital. Doctors and nursing staff are arrogant. They are barely used to literate patients, so if you ask anything or ask for better service for which one is ready to pay, the doctors and nursing staff become all defensive. For evey little thing, you have to shake up the administration. The hospital is frequented by local villagers, who don’t ask many things and bear the rude and atrocious treatment. Hence, the doctors and nursing staff have assigned themselves to a stature of Gods, who are above anything. My nephew was admitted to so called ICU where no doctors were available. Then after much arguments and the decision that we will shift her to a better hospital and since my friends is well known to the administration, the administration had to intervene and she was shifted to a better ICU. The nursing staff is rude and will not care if there is a vein rupture or swelling in the hand before pricking the patient. And if you ask for numbing medicines or Prilocaine patches to be used, they will flatly refuse, even though I had purchased it and given it to them. Nurse asked me to switch her on oxygen supply and orally administer the medicines. Perhaps administration will listen to you but overall a very bitter experience. I had expected that this hospital would be more careful towards the patient handling as the CMD is a sitting MP and himself a doctor. Mind you that irrespective of the poor services, the rates are only marginally lesser than well established hospitals. If you need to reach for emergency, go but if you are undertaking a planned treatment/surgery or even in emergency cases, if your patient needs long stay, please rethink.
