One of the most beautiful mosque of the world which placed in isfahan. The building of this mosque was started more than 400 years ago by the order of Shah Abbas Safavi I of persia. The Shah mosque which also known as the Imam mosque after the iranian revolution is one of the masterpieces of islamic architecture. The seven-colour mosaic tiles and calligraphy made it so beautiful and marvellous structure.nThis mosque has 3 domes and 4 minars. The architect of this building is Ali Akbar Isfahani.

I finally stepped in this mosque after 25 years of seeing its facade from outside. Now I regret why I didn't do this earlier but anyway, You won't get what I mean unless you do the same and step in. Make sure you get your comfortable shoes and a good camera!

This beautiful mosque was built in the Safavid era and has the most amazing tiles and details. If you go early in the morning you might have the place to yourself. Spent 2 hours walking around and taking pictures.
