Untouched piece of nature .. Where you cam readily find wild animals like elephants, monkeys, various species of birds.. If you are lucky enough you can get to see bears and bisons .. But if you want a state of peace of mind, this is one the best place in dooars as it is not a very crowded place to roam around ..

Its a good place for trekking.. With some historical tarka. People with heart and BP issues need not visit.. Nearest good hospital in Alipurduar.. Can find some shops for tea and and snacks.. Good sights to see .. Can visit once for trekking on hilly track..

Nice Tiger forest reserve...On a safari you would sight deers, peacocks, elephants n bisons...No tracks of tigers, cheetahs n pant here, as claimed by the guide/local..nSafari is good experience..

Buxa Tiger reserve is one of the greatest tiger saving projects in india. It's situated in the alipurduar district of West Bengal, India. It's very good but one thing is that it's very costly. Possibility of watching tigers is really less , yet it would cost you very much.... However the Mahakal temple is very awesome. It's situated at the border of Bhutan but going to there through cars is not worth it..... I suggest walking.
