I really enjoyed this hidden gem in St. Charles County. This place is full of outdoor activities for all ages. There is an overlook that easily accessible for most park goers and there is a paved road to get to it. I really enjoyed my Hike on Hogsback Trail. My only suggestion would to have trail markers on the trees, just so hikers can cage their location or for emergency services. There is also a lake with a white sandy beach that is great for kayaking and fishing! Overall, great park!

This park is gorgeous! I love the white lime rocks, the lake and surrounding vegetation. If you have kids the playground equipment isn't amazing but hiking, kayaking or conoeing and biking opportunities are splendid

Nice views! The trail had some slick parts but otherwise very manageable

Nice little hiking trail, about 2 miles. Has initial steep climb, but very reasonable after that. Great for a little exercise

Nice park for hiking, overnight camping, water for kayaking. Swing set for the kids. Overall recommend this park if you have a chance to visit off of Highway 94 in st-charles
