We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were fantastic. It was down pouring when we got there, so instead of making us get out and check in, they said go ahead and set up and they will come check us in later. They were incredibly friendly and nice, that does a lot for any stay. Our site was nice and clean. We were able to easily get the boat on since it is a smaller campground, there wasn't a bunch of boats trying to get in, the only complaint about the boat ramp is there is not a no wake zone, so every now and then you will have to deal with a jerk who doesn't watch for other boaters. Since it is on a lesser traveled part of the lake, there is some algae to deal with, bug nothing a shower can't fix. It is a very nice and clean campground. We will definitely stay here again!

The campground, restrooms and small beach area were all very well maintained. The couple that manages it was awesome! They were very friendly and helpful, couldn't ask for better hosts.

Ricky and jerri are so kind and helpful! We use this campground most of the summer and love it! It’s clean and quiet. Would love if it was open Thursday - Monday to give us more opportunity to enjoy the grounds.

Nice campsites, even though small. Low number sites have no path to bath house (easily put in). Only a few sites have lake view and the sites are far to close together. Oddly, this campground is void of all wildlife. Almost no birds. Absolutely no deer, squirls, chipmunks, frogs or crickets. Not a single one. It does have a very healthy supply of hornets, wasps and roaches. Also, bath house is not maintained. Dead bugs, spider webs and generally dirty and no paper all weekend. Roads are not maintained either. There is a healthy foot of moss growing on most of the roads, both sides.

In my 30 years of camping on Lake Allatoona, this weekend at Upper Stamp Creek Campground was truly one of the best; thanks to the exceptional hospitality of the campground hosts, Michell and her sweet dog Soshi along with Jerri and Ricky. Thank for surprising my wife and me with a Happy Anniversary card and garden fresh vegetables.
