It's a nice campground but you need to be selective on the spot you pick, steep hills in some. It has a good beach, boat ramp, and a bath house. Some sites with power and water, but only a dump station. There are only a few lakeside sites with power and water, that are in my eyes, lakeside. The park attendants have been nice, helpful, and easy to deal with.nAll said, I'll be back! Great for a long weekend getaway close to the house!

Campsite 16 is the site we had. Steep terraced site and it was SURROUNDED by poison ivy. the whole campground is covered with it. I actually bottom some gloves to pull it back off the walk way so my family wouldn't get in it. They campground was nice. kids liked the campground and the beach is fun. we had the whole loop to ourselves and there is sandy beach at the bottom of the campsite. the bathroom has three stalls (for women) and two showers stalls. there was no hand soap provided so bring your own. I would love to stay here in the future. Just get after all that poison.....

Started out great, got there set up and then I felt like I was being stalked! The gate person was rude both times I had to deal with her , site did not have a water spout like stated for site, got in forest rangers called on us the morning we left because we were burning pallets , 4 days later which we had the whole time they were stalking us and watching ! Great views yes but need more privacy and clearer rules

Been there 3 times. 2 were awesome. Last one on Labor Day someone ran a constitution site generator 24/7. Made it so not relaxing.

The place was great! It's affordable, the camp sites are well maintained, the bathrooms are well taken care of and very clean and the kids had so much fun on the beach and in the water. The staff could be a bit friendly but really it's a great place to camp whether in an RV or using a tent.
