Very happy with mother and baby care and prices are very reasonable for the services they offer.Having read the mixed reviews I was doubtful about going to this hospital as it's our 1st time and new to Vijayawada. What I found is they are comparing it to a corporate Hospital which is unjust. It's a nursing home and the doctor is quite experienced and skilled. They do explain their charges and they have rooms to choose from.

I fully recommend this hospital.. Best Doctors - Dr Aruna and Dr sarath Chandra.. Dr Aruna has lot of experience and spends enough time with each patient.. Gynecologist and pediatricians are available round the clock. Hospital nursing staff is good and caring. Hygiene is maintained. Hospital Infrastructure is up to the mark with NICU.. 24/7 nurses monitoring and lab facility.. rooms are cleaned everyday.. Food joints and baby care stores like first cry are very nearby. The only minor issues I found is with the rooms like no AC remotes, old fashioned patient beds..

Never go this hospital for delivery. They have a target of 1 lakh for Normal Delivery and 1.5 lakh and above for Ceserian. They are very greedy and will try to overcharge at every opportunity. They may prefer Normal Delivery but will increase chrages by putting baby in NICU. Their NICU charges are exorbitant. They told on the fourth day that the baby has Jaundice and the baby had to kept under phototherapy for four days. It costed me 40000 rs for one day NICU observation and four days photo therapy.Then coming to the charges of delivery DR. Aruna Surendra charges very heavily. Her professional charge itself is around 40000 rs, then again there are other charges like operation therate charges, assistant doctor charges , nurse charges etc. So in total for delivery it is around 70000 rs. I had to shell out 1.1 lakh for normal delivery.nnIn summary go this hospital only if you have lot of money and want to give it to them.nnReply 1 to the comment from owner:nn1. 1.1 lakh rs may be cheap for you but definitely not for ordinary people.n2. Why I choose this hospital, don't worry I will not choose again.n3. All the charges are explained? Seriously? At that point of time all we think about is just baby not money. Who explained the charges? Nurses? The nurse didn't even know how to write properly in english. Nobody explained the break up of charges.n4. There are few other things which I thought would skip earlier, but will mention them now.nA .Dr. Aruna Surendra sleeps suddenly during consultation. We are often worried about the same. What if sleeps during cesarian?nB. You have good reputation of the past, that is one of the reason we choose you, but looks like it is fading now.nC. The condition of the rooms is pathetic.nD. Room rent for Non A/C is 500 and A/C is 2000 as per the notice board displayed at the hospital. But wonder why the charges vary while billing to insurance company, for non A/C it is 1000 and for A/C it is 4000. Is this even legal? What other charges vary in this way? Can you list out the same? I wonder what insurance companies think about this.
