we have visited this place on 07/11/2020.nIts a worth to visit once if you never experienced how the natural caves looks like. Be careful while stepping inside the caves as its slippery and muddy to walk (must prefer shoes with good grip )around, make sure not to take below 5yrs age and above 60yrs age as inside due to poor air circulation and path is narrow and rocky. There is only one canteen with basic snacks to eat. thank you

These are underground caves. Its worth visiting. Not scary. Its very humid inside. I don't have any experience of visiting these caves in summer. In December its hot and sweating inside. It may be a cool place in December. There is no eatery, no restaurant is a great disappointment. Except going round in the caves, that hardly takes few minutes, no other attraction or place to relax or enjoy. For visitors coming from far places, at least a park with some amusement and restaurant is a minimum expectation at a place like this.

The largest and longest cave system in India still open for the tourists, has numerous pathways with intricate patterns of water stream on limestone which are bound to leave you awestruck.nExploring the Belum caves may be slightly tricky due to the subterranean location of the caves. On any given route of the cave, one has to walk around for an hour amidst slightly lower concentrations of atmospheric oxygen which makes it little difficult to breathe.nMore than three and a half kilometres of the cave has been successfully explored of which only a kilometer and half is accessible to common tourists.

Due to heavy rainfall the caves are filled with water up to knee level & slippery.Proper lights are been provided throughout the caves. The air circulation is low inside the cave. Follow the instructions before entering. Try to reach Patalagangothri you will enjoy the caves for sure. Better to go with bare legs avoid flip flops or shoes. No drinking water is provided inside the caves if needed carry bottle.
