25 Degree North Hotel and Restaurant ukhrul

One of the nicest places we've stayed in while touring the northeast. The hotel is small -- just five rooms -- and well-appointed, with good linens, hot water, storage furniture and nice blankets. The rooms have good views and the hotel is well located in the center of Ukhrul's commercial district. The restaurant is really good -- simple tasty food, quite healthy, and nicely prepared. The menu is limited for vegetarians but the staff are willing to adapt menu items a bit, which is really helpful. The nicest thing about this hotel is the owner and staff. They are warm, friendly, kind and helpful. We feel so welcomed here, so well cared for. We've stayed more than a week and plan to stay still longer. It's a restful place to come back to after our long country walks in this beautiful place. Ukhrul isn't a big town, but it has plenty to offer -- good walks and some nice beauty spots if you hire a car to take you there -- for example, Shirui Peak (a wonderful hike), and Mova Cave. There are also the Longpi villages where the famous black pottery is made. There are still a few more hikes we haven't done yet. I highly recommend 25 Degree North, and Ukhrul itself -- a restful and beautiful place.

It's a pleasant place ... one and only in ukhrul

Location is good. Find parking at your own luck. Its basically a lodge. Rooms are okay. I took my own blankets because i prefer sleeping on a clean bed. Because of the weather in ukhrul, rooms smell wet. Toilets are not very clean. But thank god for the water and geyser. I only had breakfast, cause i lunched and dined out. Breakfast was okay. Took longer than expected. Staffs are kind.

Very friendly had a pleasant stay

Awesome hotel and restaurant. There are only five rooms available in the hotel. All the five rooms are in the second floor. Restaurant and the reception are in the first floor. Spacious room and closet, above all its very clean and tidy. Ukhrul is a very small hilly town and hotel like this here is awesome.The food in the restaurant is awesome. There is no words to explain the food, I mean it's awesome.
