Robin Banerjee was a well known hero of his times. You will wonder when you realise that Mr. Banerjee made his debut documentary on Kaziranga, first of it's kind way back in 60s. He used to edit his documentaries himself. There is a pretty good collection of flora and fauna of Assam, along with Mr Banerjee's personal collections in the Museum. The ambience is pretty charming and though awesome, the place is yet to attract big crowds even during weekends.

Wonderful collection of artifacts by the great Dr. Robin Banerjee. The quaint mansion houses a large collection of wildlife photography, dolls and charming old artifacts from all over India and abroad. Paintings by the great Jamini Roy, MF Hussain and Rabindranath Tagore adorn the walls. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Nature lover Dr. Robin Banerjee founded the meusuem. You can find here a great collection of coins, toys etc. Let your child enter to this meusuem and see the beginning of earth, human life and so on.
