On 17th of October 2018 when I returned back from Abroad car on the name of my wife & father was stolen by forcibly breaking the locks. As my father expired and all the instalments of loan were paid by co-applicant who is my wife.nA DDR was lodged in sector 34 police station and on investigation it was found the car was stolen by one Kanwaljit Kaur and she took to her house located in Rajiv Vihar Manimajra. As she has high links due to her relation with higher ups. First DDR No 18 was already lodged and another DDR No. 72 was relodged to accomodate the accused in the case. Now when one of the co-owner is already dead and the car is not insured at that time. As per the ruling of Hon'ble Supreme Court in case car meets with accident only owner will be responsible, with one applicant dead and car intentionally not recovered by the police till today the onus due to lax attitude of police lies on the co-applicant.nLater when application under section 156(3) was lodged with hon'ble court in sector 43, it was found police has given false reasons for not recovering the car.nThe IO Sub Insp. Suresh Kumar & the than SHO Insp. Ajay Kumar very clearly stated verbally that they are under influence of Senior Officers and cannot recover the car even after all the documented evidence. Today after one year & more than 3 months the accused is driving the car and owner of car is struggling to get justice,nIn a day or two I will upload all the documented evidence & would like to know your comments for the Police department under SSP Sahiba.
