Great historic place of King Thiba. This place is now maintained by Government of Maharashtra. Now this place is museum. There are lot of too old item is kept in that museum

This place needs better maintenance,,,Situated in the city of Ratnagiri,,is a very good piece of architecture..If you are in Ratnagiri,you can just drop in this place for this amazing palace.. Exteriors are good and picturesque...This place is at a distance of 2 kms from Ratnagiri bus stand..you can also find a museum,with small collection of artifacts...

Was looking forward to see this place after I'd read about it in the book THE GLASS PALACE, but unfortunately it was closed due to Covid....with weeds growing all over it is reflective of the forlorn story of a king in exile...
