Station Mainly for crossing purposes because it is nearer to trivandrum central railway station.nnWell maintained with some beautiful gardenin platform 1.nnBut the platform 2 need to be improved.need to provide some more benches and waiting shed.nnNot so crowded station even if the time of stopping trains. Large Parking area available. No foot over bridges between platforms. Not sure about waiting room and pay and use toilets.nnNo canteens or stores available. Less than 1 km walkable distance to the main road.nn.nnA New yard and depot. work is Ongoing. After that may be it will become a major station i think.
