Small railway station with two platforms. Only passenger trains stops here. Station Mainly for crossing purposes because it is nearer to trivandrum central railway station.nnWell maintained with some beautiful gardenin platform 1.nnBut the platform 2 need to be improved.need to provide some more benches and waiting shed.nnNot so crowded station even if the time of stopping trains. Large Parking area available. No foot over bridges between platforms. Not sure about waiting room and pay and use toilets.nnNo canteens or stores available. Less than 1 km walkable distance to the main road.nn.nnA New yard and depot. work is Ongoing. After that may be it will become a major station i think.

Nemom railway station will become the terminal station of Trivandrum central . terminal work is progressing in this area.after two years this station have five platforms, three pitline and two shunting line,tmany of the express trains now starting and ending in Trivandrum central railway station will operate from here
