Kuthiramalika (lit. Mansion of horses) is a palace built by Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma on the south-eastern side of Padmanabhaswamy temple, Thiruvananthapuram. This palace was built in the 1840s. The construction of the palace was completed by 5000 Vishwabrahmins in four years. The palace gets its name from the 122 horses that are carved into the wooden wall brackets that support the southern roof.

Yuppie... I saw most of the antique used by kings and queens... All of them are preserved in good condition.. Good place to show to the upcoming Young generations..

Very informative and interesting. Got a chance to look at a page from the lives of royal family. The collections are immensely taken care of. The guide also explains very well.
