St. Stephen's Church, Thope

I had visited the St Stephens Church Thope Kollam which is having the traditional and beautiful style located not far away from the Kollam Beach.The Church and premises are kept very neat and tidy and it is very conveniently and visibly situated adjacent to the main road at Thope.There is a beautiful grotto in front of the Church and another Chapel towards eastern side of the Church compound.The Chapel of St Mary is located adjacent to the Beach road.The cemetery is situated inside the premises of the Church and is very well. maintained. Absence of wheel chair access prevents me from giving five stars.

So calm and quiet place particularly at evening .A girl was singing inside alone to god it was echoing throughout....so sweeet.

St Stephen's Church, Thope, Kollam is one of the oldest parish in the diocese of Quilon. This parish, entrusted to the care of the Salesian priests has made remarkable growth during the past four decades. The solemn blessing of the new church was on 8th December 2011.
