The house where Kunchan Nambiar was born, Kalakkathu Bhavanam, is now a cultural centre,undertaken by Department of Culture of State Government of Kerala . There is also a library situated there in memory of Kunchan Nambiar called Kunchan Smaraka Vayanasala - Kunchan Memorial Library.
