Ahalia Heritage Village

Ahalia Campus is undoubtedly a great campus. It is worth a visit. You have all the facilities that you require inside. Distanced at around 28km from Palakkad town and nearby to Walayar check post, it is a great campus with hospitals engineering colleges, IIT - Temporary campus and a lot more. Ahalia heritage village is near the guest house/apartments. Inorder to enter the village you need to get tickets. It could be booked online but it is not difficult to get a ticket from the ticket counter near the entrance. ( If you belong to any Ahalia Institution, they might even give you a discount!). Once entered you can roam around enjoying the greenery and lots of exhibitions and museums. If you are a fan of art or music or a bit of both, Ahalia heritage village can certainly entertain you. There are lots of stone sculplture, art gallery museum, Caricatures, Music instruments etc. Dont miss out the sculptures of some of the eminent personalities which are really impressive and life-like. Terracotta museum is also undoubtedly one of the chief attractions of the place. It is worth a day to visit and enjoy the beauty of the place. Highly recommended.

One of the best place to know and experience different kinds of culture , art , old practices and history of kerala. So many art works are exhibited in different places. I think it's a good place for study tour for school level students. They will also arrange other facilities as per demand.. need to walk a lot & very hot climate so keep necessary things in hand. Battery cars are also available

Ahalia heritage village is located in the Ahalia heritage , knowledge, and health Care centre PALAKKAD.nThere is a small entrance fee to the heritage centre.nIIT PALAKKAD transit campus is also located in this giant centre of Ahalia Group.nThe heritage village is actually a feast to eyes for tourists, plenty of ancient cultural depictions are spread throughout the heritage village.nThe Koothamabalam , the terracotta museum, the museum of musical instruments all are so beautiful.

Good place .. Must visit when you visit palakkad..
